We’re starting off with my very first song, “Feet On My Face.” It has been described by listeners as a bold, unapologetic foot fetish rap anthem. To understand this track, you have to realize that back in 2017, nobody was making music like this. The topic was heavily stigmatized, people weren’t nearly as open about it as they are today, and only a handful of underground rappers were making professional studio quality music about it. It was a completely different time, which is exactly why the song blew up and went viral.
When I got home from that festival, I literally had to Google “how to rap” because I didn’t know jack shit about making music. It took me an entire year of intense trial and error to finish the song. I had to learn how to count bars, flow over a beat, and structure a track while keeping the delivery raw and authentic. My main motivation was just to get more feet, but the steep learning curve required pure obsession to actually get the track across the line.
That was the harsh feedback I was getting from the world, and it pushed me to make a change. Before this, I always kept lying to myself. I would look at myself in the mirror and pretend that I was happy at my job and happy with where I was in life. But one day, entirely frustrated by all these terrible dates, I stopped the bullshitting and stopped lying to myself.
I had a moment of pure, brutal honesty. I looked in the mirror and asked myself, “Why am I wasting all of this time and money on these dates if the only thing I want is their feet?” I finally faced the real questions: What do I really want in life? What will actually make me happy? And my raw response to myself was: “I want some feet on my face, that’s what I fucking want.”
Instead of letting the rejection break me, that breakthrough hardened my resolve. I told myself, “I’m not going to let the world dictate who I am or control my life. I’m going to change the world and make it accept me.” I channeled all of that raw energy straight into “Feet On My Face.”
Publishing it completely changed my life. It transformed from a simple viral goal into a cultural middle finger to the judgers. I’ve been getting plenty of feet ever since, and the fans love it. It’s a completely unapologetic track. I don’t care what people think; I’m just speaking my truth based on real events from my life.
